• Payment information — billing details are collected and processed by Paddle (our payment processor) and are never stored on our servers. We receive only a transaction ID and your subscription status.
• Support communications — if you contact us by email, we retain that correspondence.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data — pages visited, features used, scans run, timestamps.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL.
• Scan results — the analysis data we generate from your submitted URLs, stored to display your history and track progress.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

• Google PageSpeed Insights API — we query this API with URLs you submit. Google may log these requests per their own privacy policy.
• Paddle — provides us with your subscription plan, renewal status, and payment confirmation (not full card details).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the AnalysisURL Service
• Create and manage your user account
• Process scans and return analysis results to you
• Process and manage subscription payments via Paddle
• Send transactional emails (scan results, receipts, account alerts)
• Send product updates or newsletters, if you opt in
• Respond to your support requests
• Monitor and prevent fraudulent or abusive use of the Service
• Comply with applicable laws and legal obligations
• Analyze aggregate, anonymized usage to improve the product

We will never use your data for advertising purposes or sell it to third parties.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, our processing of your personal data is based on the following legal grounds:

• Contract performance — processing necessary to provide the Service you requested (e.g., running scans, managing your account).

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

5.1 Service Providers (Sub-processors)

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting. Data stored on Supabase servers (AWS, US region).
• Paddle — payment processing and subscription management. Paddle is a Merchant of Record and processes your payment data under their own privacy policy.
• Google LLC — PageSpeed Insights API. Submitted URLs are sent to Google's API for analysis.
• Netlify — website hosting and content delivery.

5.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AnalysisURL, our users, or the public.

5.3 Business Transfers

If AnalysisURL is acquired, merged, or sold, your data may be transferred to the successor entity. We will notify you before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use minimal, essential cookies only:

• Authentication cookies — Supabase session tokens to keep you logged in. These are strictly necessary for the Service to function.
• Preference cookies — to remember your UI preferences (e.g., theme settings).

We do not use third-party advertising cookies, Facebook Pixel, or behavioral tracking technologies. We do not use Google Analytics or similar analytics that share your data with third parties.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling authentication cookies will prevent you from accessing your account.

7. Data Retention

• Account data — retained while your account is active and for 30 days after deletion.
• Scan history — retained for the duration of your subscription. Free-tier scan results are retained for 7 days. Paid-tier scan results are retained indefinitely while the account is active.
• Payment records — retained for 7 years as required by applicable tax laws.
• Support emails — retained for 2 years.
• Server logs — retained for 30 days then automatically deleted.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten") — request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Restriction — request that we limit how we process your data.

10. International Data Transfers

AnalysisURL operates from Iraq and uses infrastructure providers (Supabase, Netlify) that store and process data in the United States. If you are accessing the Service from the European Economic Area, UK, or other regions with data protection laws, your data will be transferred internationally.

We rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, including standard contractual clauses and adequacy decisions where applicable. Our sub-processors (Supabase, Paddle, Netlify) maintain compliance with applicable international transfer mechanisms.

11. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information:

• All data in transit is encrypted via TLS/HTTPS.
• Database access is protected by Row-Level Security (RLS) policies — each user can only access their own data.
• Authentication is handled via magic links and secure session tokens (no passwords stored).
• Payment data is never stored on our servers — Paddle handles all card data under PCI-DSS compliance.

No system is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, as required by applicable law.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

By accessing or using AnalysisURL ("the Service") at analysisurl.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and AnalysisURL ("we," "us," or "our"), an individual-operated business.

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or your business to use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AnalysisURL is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that provides automated analysis of Shopify stores. The Service includes:

• Automated scanning of Shopify store URLs for speed, SEO, and UX issues
• Health scoring and benchmarking against industry standards
• Estimated revenue impact calculations based on publicly available research data
• Prioritized lists of issues and fix recommendations
• Historical scan tracking and comparison (paid plans)
• Competitor analysis features (paid plans)
• PDF report exports (paid plans)

The Service analyzes only publicly accessible website data. We do not access any private Shopify admin data, customer data, or payment information from the stores we scan. All URL submissions are for publicly accessible store front-ends only.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information (email address)
• Maintain the security of your account and magic link authentication emails
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account at hello@analysisurl.com
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account. Creating multiple free accounts to circumvent scan limits is a violation of these Terms and may result in suspension of all associated accounts.

You may not use the Service using disposable or temporary email addresses for the purpose of circumventing usage limits.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Plan Types

AnalysisURL offers the following subscription tiers:

• Free Plan — $0/month, 1 scan per day, limited features, no payment required.
• Starter Plan — $29 USD/month, 10 scans per day, full issue reports, fix guides, and priority support.
• Growth Plan — $49 USD/month, unlimited scans, Shopify API integration, historical tracking, and up to 10 stores.

4.2 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly, in advance. All payments are processed by Paddle, our payment processor and Merchant of Record. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize Paddle to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.

Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all transactions, which means:

• Your payment receipt will show "Paddle" as the merchant
• Paddle handles all applicable sales tax, VAT, and GST automatically

4.3 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days advance notice of any price change via email. Your continued use of the Service after the price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

4.4 Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will retry the charge and notify you by email. If the payment remains unsuccessful after 7 days, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan and you will lose access to paid features. No data will be deleted during this grace period.

5. Refund Policy

5.1 Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all new paid subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with the Service for any reason, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial payment by emailing hello@analysisurl.com with the subject line "Refund Request."

Refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.

5.2 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing hello@analysisurl.com. Upon cancellation:

• Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
• You will not be charged for the next billing period.
• No partial refunds are provided for unused time remaining in a billing period, unless you are within the 7-day money-back guarantee window.
• Your account will be downgraded to the Free plan at the end of the billing period.

5.3 Exceptions

Refunds will not be provided for:

• Accounts suspended or terminated due to violations of these Terms.
• Subscriptions older than 7 days (outside the money-back guarantee window), except in cases of documented technical failure on our part.
• Renewal charges where the renewal was not cancelled before the billing date and you were reminded by a renewal notification email.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose of analyzing Shopify store health. You must not:

• Submit URLs you do not own or have explicit permission to scan
• Use the Service to collect data on competitor stores for purposes other than your own SEO/performance benchmarking
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the AnalysisURL platform beyond normal use
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other tools to perform more scans than your plan allows
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent Free plan limits
• Share your account credentials or allow others to use your account
• Attempt to access other users' data or the Service's backend systems
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws
• Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code through the Service
• Use the Service to infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Harass, threaten, or harm any person through the Service

Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate termination of your account without refund.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our IP

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, scoring algorithms, report formats, and software — are the exclusive property of AnalysisURL and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or exploit any part of the Service without our express written permission.

7.2 Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service, including store URLs. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your submitted data for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

7.3 Feedback

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us an irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free license to use that feedback to improve the Service without any obligation to you.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with and depends on third-party services including:

• Google PageSpeed Insights API — for performance data. Subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
• Paddle — for payment processing. Subject to Paddle's Terms of Service. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all transactions.
• Supabase — for database and authentication infrastructure.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of these third-party services. Use of third-party services through AnalysisURL is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

Links to third-party websites are provided for your convenience. We have no control over third-party sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

9.1 No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
• The results of scans will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose
• Any revenue projections will be achieved
• Issues identified by the Service represent all issues with your store

9.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANALYSISURL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, REVENUE, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AnalysisURL and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Your violation of any third party's rights, including privacy or intellectual property rights
• Any content or data you submit to the Service

11. Termination

11.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time by emailing hello@analysisurl.com. Termination will take effect within 5 business days. Upon termination, your account data will be deleted within 30 days, except data we are required to retain by law.

11.2 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if:

• You violate these Terms of Service or our Acceptable Use Policy
• Your account is involved in fraudulent or illegal activity
• We are required to do so by law or legal process
• Continued operation of your account poses a risk to the Service or other users

In cases of termination for cause (Terms violation), no refund will be issued. In cases of termination without cause by us, we will provide a pro-rata refund for unused paid time remaining in your billing period.

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including IP rights, disclaimers, and indemnification — will survive.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international commercial law principles. We will attempt to resolve any disputes informally first.

If you have a dispute with AnalysisURL, please email hello@analysisurl.com first. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve the matter within 30 days.

For users located in the European Union, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Sending an email notification to registered users at least 14 days before changes take effect

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your agreement to the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription before the effective date.
